ONE BENCH, THREE DIFFERENT LOOKS
These two-seater benches came from one of Oxford University’s colleges when they decided to refurbish their bar. They have been given three very different treatments (using colours from the Annie Sloan range of chalk paint) demonstrating Chalky Chic’s versatility…
If you are interested in commissioning a statement piece of your own, please contact Chalky Chic for further details.
Mid-Century Mustard Bench
This bench was painted in a contemporary mustard shade created by mixing English Yellow with a little Coco and distressed with Annie Sloan’s new black wax. The padded seat is upholstered in a fun retro teacup fabric by Prestigious Fabrics.
Stylish Magenta Bench
This bench was painted in Annie Sloan Coco over a base of Burgundy and then distressed to reveal some of the darker colour underneath and finished with dark wax. The padded seat is upholstered in Natasha Marshall’s printed raw silk from her Orissa Collection.
Spanish Bohemia Bench
This bench – which is destined for a house in Andalucia in southern Spain – was painted in Annie Sloan English Yellow before ageing with dark wax. It was upholstered in a vibrant rustic striped fabric that perfectly compliments the Bohemian Spanish interior.
